Looking to be Found by my Godly Future Husband The one thing I am most passionate about: Jesus and relationships. I believe giving your time to someone is the most valuable gift you can give to another person and God created us and formed us uniquely for a special relationship with Him as well. I wholeheartedly believe people are hardwired for relationships. God has been developing and refining my character especially in discovering more of my gifts and talents in graduate school. I have a deep passion and interest in working with and alongside children and families... fractured and broken families and children more specifically. I do feel called into some kind of family ministry in the future, but also feel very much called to work as a grief counselor. Would like to spend my life living passionately and recklessly for God and serving and loving on other people. I am always looking to use my gifts of hospitality, service, and encouragement to lift up broken hearted people. Presently spend my time working many part time jobs while attending graduate school full time to obtain a dual masters degree at a local university in town. I have been an active volunteer at church in the welcome team and children ministry for many years now and also volunteer my time serving as a grief small group coordinator at a local home for grieving families and children. It is important to me to find a man that believes in the courtship process and working to build a solid friendship before anything else. I have many spiritual mentors in my life and belong to and attend two weekly bible studies. Growing in my relationship with the Lord is very important to me and it is a quality I look for right away in men. I enjoy being mentored and discipled by older godly women and would like my future husband to value belonging to, serving in, and being mentored by a stronger and older believer at church. I am fascinated by the trinity and how God has modeled the heavenly things in the world and throughout the bible. Family and children ministry are some of my favorite ministry areas. I really enjoy traveling and sight seeing and plan to volunteer and work in a honduran orphanage once completing graduate school. I am working toward a career that combines traveling, ministry, and working with children and families. The most important thing I am looking for in a person is: A man who loves Jesus. I am very relationship oriented and am looking for a man who is marriage and family minded. One aspect regarding my values is that I am old fashioned and would love to share my life with a godly man who wants to serve and love on others. I would love to date a man who is actively involved at his church and is always looking to grow in his leadership and ministry area. An attractive quality I look for in a guy is in his leadership ability. I am also looking to date a man that has forward vision for his life and career and has some sort of idea and passion for what God has for him. Being on the same level spiritually is very important to me as well. My personality type: I am an introvert with many extroverted qualities, so I love men who are confident and strong. There is nothing sexier than a man who is confident in who God created him to be. The most influential person in my life has been: My grandmother has really had a huge impact on my life. My family life has always been very difficult and after seeing my parents go through a bitter divorce when I was very young my grandparents had to step in and help out our family. I was raised by my mom who had to raise four kids and work all the time to support our family. My grandmother is near to my heart because during that time my grandma spent all her time mentoring me and showing me what healthy relationships look like and how to put a relationship with God first. She showed me how to be strong and take joy in serving and loving on other people. The first thing people notice about me: My friends would tell you they first noticed my infectious smile and sincere curiosity to learn about others lives and their stories. They also said my laughter is so contagious. I absolutely love working with people and enjoy giving encouragement, service, and hospitality. I am very warm hearted and compassionate and am drawn to people who need comfort and uplifting. Life Verse: I live in a high and holy place, but also with him who is contrite and lowly in spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly and to revive the heart of the contrite.
